This is the first level of our toddler puzzle books. In this preschool puzzle book, each letter has it's own piece which fits in a single space. The pieces do not connect together.

Young toddler children will work on letter recognition, sounds and dexterity as they place each puzzle piece on the pages. Children will enjoy learning the letters of the alphabet with Poppy and Sam and the other characters from Apple Tree Farm. The 26 letters each have their own picture jigsaw piece, which lifts out to reveal the letter underneath, providing endless opportunities for matching words and letters. I encourage you to use this book with your own ideas. You can take all the pieces and lay them upside down on the floor to play a "simple memory game". Ask your child to pick one and tell you it's name. When they can recognize all the letters, then repeat but this time ask the child for the sound the letter makes. Create your own ideas too!
