When checking out on our site, in some cases you will have the choice of choosing the "Literacy Price" for only $1.00 more. In other cases we only offer the "Literacy Price". When you pay the "Literacy Price", you will be contributing to purchasing educational books for children.

When you choose our "Literacy Price", the extra $1.00 goes to Kids Read More and 100% of that dollar is used to purchase educational books donated to schools.

How did this idea come about?
This idea began because we realize not everyone can make a large donation toward changing literacy in America...
But pennies do count! If we can gather a small amount per customer, we can begin to change the number and type of books available to young children today.

What types of books are donated?
Titles range from infant to adult. Kids Read More has over 1,000 titles to choose from and prices begin as low as $4.95 so small amounts can make a big difference!

How can I get my school on the list to receive free donated books?
Kids Read More has a listing on it's website where schools can register to be a receiver of free books. Visit their Free Books for Schools web pages for instructions on how to get your school on the list.
